Assassins Creed 2 – The Review

When i got into work, there was an envelope waiting for me. When i opened it and saw a copy of Assassin’s Creed 2 i let out a little yelp. (I had to look around to see if anyone noticed…thankfully they didn’t) I was a big fan of the first game, in my opinion it was a really original concept and the character you play is kick ass.

If you haven’t played the first Assassin’s Creed it doesn’t really mean you can’t play this one. It does start where the last one left off. You play a character called Desmond, who with the help of a machine called the Animus ables you to see the past. Desmond is not an assassin but the character you play in the past is.

The story-line in Assassins Creed 2, in my opinion is alot more engaging than the forst. The graphics once again are amazing, with great detail put into the cities you explore.

Likes – The Graphics are great. The game play is very easy to get used to. The story line (once you get into it is addictive) Great valus for money. Unless you stay up day and night, you won’t finish this game in a couple of days.

Dislikes – The first few missions and tasks are really catered to those who haven’t played Assassin’s Creed before. You can’t skip any of the cut scenes. Although important, if you fail a mission, sometimes you’ll have to go back through the same cut scenes. 

Overall – This is a great gamers game. Good story line and very easy to get used to. Prepare to loose many many hours of your day to this. 8 / 10
