Today’s story for the Punderwall was about now ex Chelsea mid-fielder, Joe Cole’s move to Annfield. It was reported that Steven Gerrard had a huge part to play in the signing after the two soccer spent time together at this year’s World Cup in South Africa. Cole arrived yesterday at the Liverpool training camp in Switzerland to meet his new boss Roy Hodgson. Cole turned down offers from Spurs and Arsenal but he will certainly be in the money with this signing, he is set to bag €90,000 a week for his skills! Should have paid attention in gym class
