Michelle Beatty

Having spent three years studying broadcasting and journalism in the world-reknowned Senior College Ballyfermot, Michelle decided to try her luck at many other careers, including cabin crew, greengrocer and personal assistant before finding her way back to the seedy world of media. She has been with Spin since its launch in 2001 working as Office Manager and Traffic Manager at the station. She took some time out to travel around South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the US before returning to Spin Towers to present weekly magazine show Plan B every Saturday at 11.45am.

Michelle has also previously worked in RTE and TV3 as a contributor and researcher. She’s a big fan of the 80s (the music, not so much the food), The Wire, Alan Carr,Kate Bush, Rachel Allen, soul music,Top Shop, and movies that make her think, laugh or cry and any man who can dance good. She also likes Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain.
