The rumour mill is in overdrive!
It's the question we all want to know - who is set to play Britney Spears in her upcoming biopic, The Woman in Me?
Over the weekend, a tweet based on a Life & Style article went viral after suggesting Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter and Millie Bobby Brown are all in talks to play the role of the 'Toxic' singer.
However, Wicked director Jon M. Chu, who is set to direct the film, is putting the rumours to bed.
In a tweet he wrote: "None of this is true, Sounds exciting but we have not had one conversation about casting this movie yet. We are way too early in development. Sorry"
Last summer, Universal Pictures reportedly bought the rights to the book, while producer Marc Platt is said to be on board to develop the book into a film.
Speaking on Britney's involvement in the film Jon said: "She’s going to be very involved".
