Alec Baldwin may have let the cat out of the bag..
He's under the illusion that his niece Hailey and Justin Bieber have tied the knot.
Speaking to Access at the Emmys last night, Alec claims he "doesn't know what the deal is."
"They just went off and got married. We text Hailey every now and then. We met him one time."
This claim comes just days after Justin and Hailey were spotted leaving a courthouse in New York - one that is known for issuing marriage licenses.
This lead their fans to believe that they tied the knot there and then. Hours later, in a now deleted tweet, Hailey insisted that she "understands where the speculation is coming from" but assured fans that she wasn't married "yet."
Alec has been dishing out advise for the young couple. Just last night at the Emmys he recommended that they spend a lot of time together.
"But when you get married, you know I mean I think it works best if you can really be together. Like you hook your schedules up where you can really be with each other cause we make all of our decisions around staying home. here's jobs that I could do, and there's things that she could do, that we don't do because it means going away for five weeks. We don't do that."
Alec also insisted that he won't be telling Justin and Hailey how to live their married life.
