Amber Portwood charged
Prosecutors have charged Amber Portwood with three felonies following her arrest last week.
The charges are domestic battery, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and domestic battery in the presence of a child
Amber's boyfriend Andrew says she assaulted him while he was holding their son James.
The heated argument broke out at approximately 3am on Friday 5th July.
Andrew alerted authorities via text claiming his and James' lives were in danger.
Police arrested the Teen Mom OG cast member and contacted Child Protective Services.
Andrew filed for sole custody of one-year-old James yesterday.
Previous domestic violence charges
MTV have previously aired footage of Amber's violence towards her ex Gary Shirley.
In 2010 police investigated footage and searched Amber's apartment.
Authorities found drugs on the property and further footage resulted in three domestic violence charges.
In 2011, Amber was arrested for possession and further charged for violating probation relating to earlier charges.
She pleaded guilty and was given a five-year suspended sentence.

However, upon failing to comply to the conditions of the suspended sentence Amber went to prison in June 2012.
She was released for good behavior in December 2013.
Amber & Andrew
Amber met Andrew while filming Marriage Boot Camp in 2017.
She was on the show to work through problems with her then fiancé Matt Baier.
Amber and Matt met on Twitter in 2014.
They got engaged in 2015, but split in 2017 after a number of issues.
In 2018, Amber and Andrew started dating and welcomed their son in the spring.
James Andrew Glennon was born on May 8, 2018, weighing 7lb 11".
