Britney Spears is officially divorced from her ex-hubby Sam Asghari.
According to People, the California courts declared Britney legally single on the 2nd of December, which also happened to be the singers 43rd birthday.
The news comes 7 months after the pairs divorce was finalized.
The pair married in June 2022 after five years together, separated in July 2023 and Sam filed for divorce in August 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences”
After the news of their “separation” broke, a source told Page Six: “Britney and Sam signed a prenup in her favor.”
“Any money she made before the wedding is protected,” the insider continued.
Sam moved on with Brooke Irvine, while Britney briefly dated former housekeeper Paul Richard Soliz.
