Cardi B has slammed rumours that she and offset split for publicity reasons.
The rapper addressed the issue with her fans in an Instagram live yesterday, that's according to E! News.
"I really don't like how people say me and my husband, whatever he is right now to me, is doing it for publicity."
"I wouldn't put my family in a bad name for no f***ing publicity, 'cause at the end of the day, ten years from now, my daughter, she's gonna be looking at these type of things and she's gonna be asking me about these type of things."
"B**ch, there's certain things called love. People do fall in love. Like, my relationship was never fake."
"I met this n***a, he was on my a**, I gave him a chance and we fell in love with each other."
"Things was not always gravy, 'cause at the end of the day, we are two different people. But we never did anything for f***ing publicity, bi**h."
"You think I got f***ing pregnant, could have ruined my career for f***ing publicity?"
The rapper announced she had split from husband of one year Offset just last week.
She shared a video to Instagram which has since been removed.
"Things just haven't been working out between us for a long time and it's nobody's fault it's just I guess we grew out of love. We're not together anymore."
"It might take time to get a divorce and I'm going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter's father and yeah."
It hasn't been a great week for Cardi. She recently appeared in court over a strip club brawl.
