Carole was asked if the show changed her life for better or for worse, and she responded, "Absolutely for worse."
"The only good thing that came out of Tiger King was the one scene where they were taking the baby cub away from the mother, while she was still giving birth."

She explained, "When people saw that, they didn't want that to be happening."
"They wanted to change that, to end that kind of abuse."
"An awful lot of people didn't even know about the abuse happening, so the one thing that it did do was raise awareness about it."

Following the release of Tiger King, many began to believe the accusations against Carole claiming she had killed her second husband.
She told Today Extra that Netflix, "took the word of a bunch of animal abusers," on this.
Carole said they, "lined them up one after the other to say, 'She killed her husband and fed him to the tigers.'"

"They would line up all of these people saying the same thing and not have any rebuttal from me, or anybody else that knew anything that was going on at the time, or the public records that would show so many things that they said to be misleading."
"I got the villain edit in Tiger King, and I really don't even understand why."

Carole added, "I felt like it was a betrayal that was meant to create a biggest selling hit as they could."
Netflix recently announced they're making a Tiger King 2, however, Carole confirmed she will not be taking part.
The CEO of Big Cat Rescue told Today Extra that she will however, be watching the new series.

She explained why, "because they told so many lies in Tiger King that I had to rebut."
"And I feel certain that they found that was a way to make a lot of money and they'll probably do it again."
