Charlotte Crosby on her ectopic pregnancy
Charlotte Crosby still hasn't forgiven her ex Gaz Beadle for apparently allowing her to face her ectopic pregnancy alone in 2016.
An ectopic pregnancy is a pregnancy that grows outside of the womb.
She spoke about the terrifying experience on her podcast Values and Vibrators this week.
While Charlotte was in hospital, her boyfriend at the time, Gaz Beadle, was filming MTV's Ex On The Beach.
She said she couldn't get in contact with him because his phone had been taken off him.
So she requested that he be given it back.
Charlotte recalled, "They were like, 'Yeah we’ll let Gary have his phone back once a day.'"
"But then in the back of my mind, I think every girl will know this, you don’t want to tell them to come home."
"But you want them to be there."
"He carried on filming"
She continued, "But you want them to do that off their own back."
"You want them to be like, 'I need to leave this show now I want to get on the first flight home and be by the side of the girl that I apparently care so much about.'"
"But that just never happened. And he carried on filming."
She said, "We spoke every other day on the phone and he insisted, 'It’s been great nothing has happened with any girls.'"
"Obviously that was a lie. Because when it came on telly shortly afterwards…"
The reality star broke down crying, "I don’t really need to say any more than that."
Charlotte claimed that one day, the phone calls just stopped coming.
"We just stopped speaking. The phone calls stopped and that was it really."
When filming finished and Gaz finally got his phone back, she knew there was so much she wanted to say to him.
"I didn’t want anything to do with him"
But she had no idea how to put into words the hurt she was feeling.
"I didn’t want anything to do with him. It was like, 'How do I even do that?'"
"I lost organs in my body, and you weren’t even there."
"I was anxious, I was scared, I was lonely. I had a lot to deal with."
Charlotte ended up sending him a lengthy text, "Basically saying you're really sh*t."
To this day, the reality star still hasn't fully forgiven him for how she claims he handled the situation.
She admitted, "I haven’t forgiven him, but it kind of is what it is and I don’t hold a grudge against him any more."
"Obviously now, five years later, we have spoke a few times."
"As stupid as it sounds, it would be nice to be friends probably again."
Charlotte concluded, "Everything worked out the right way."
