Gowan the Irish!!!
The 96th Oscars annual awards ceremony kicked off in LA on Sunday and Cillian Murphy took home the gold for Best Actor.
The Cork native made history as the first Irish-born actor to ever win an Oscar for Best Actor for his role as the Father of the atomic bomb in Oppenheimer.
The 47-year-old was up against Bradley Cooper (Maestro), Colman Domingo (Rustin), Paul Giamatti (The Holdovers) and Jeffrey Wright (American Fiction).
Brendan Fraser presented the award to the first time Oscar winner and he has never looked happier!
In his acceptance speech Cillian said: "I'm a very proud Irish Man standing here tonight!" and he even got a bit of Irish in there too signing off: "Go raibh míle maith agaibh".
