Curtis Pritchard apologises
Love Island's Curtis Pritchard has apologised to anyone he offended by the jokes he told during a recent stand up gig.
The reality star said some shocking things during an appearance on Channel 4's Stand Up & Deliver.

On his podcast AJ vs Curtis, the Love Island 2019 finalist apologised for his words.
He said, "Before we move on, I just want to quickly say I recently took part in the stand up to cancer initiative with Channel Four where I was challenged to become a stand up comedian."

Curtis continued, "I just want to apologise because I know that everyone that listens to this... you always support me."
He gushed over his followers, recognising the, "utmost respect," they show him on a daily basis, "thank you so much for that."
"But I just want to apologise to anybody that I have offended."

"They missed the mark"
"Some of the jokes - they missed the mark," he admitted.
"They were completely off track and went too far and I didn't realise that at the time and I realise it now and I just want to apologise to everybody."

Curtis went on, "And anybody that I have offended it was never intentional at all, it really wasn't."
"It was a great show to be a part of and I was very fortunate to be able to take part."
"But I just want to apologise and say I am sorry for the jokes."

The jokes
Curtis was being mentored by comedian Judi Love ahead of his stand up show.
As quoted by MailOnline, he told the audience, "I had this great idea to go on to the biggest dating show on TV."
"I had the time of my life on there. It's actually where I got compared to Usain Bolt."

"The only difference is, hang on when he finishes under ten seconds the crowd goes wild, when I finish under ten seconds she looks at me in disgust and says, 'is that all you've got?'"
He then pointed at an audience member and said, "It happens to you too, doesn't it?"

Curtis also spoke about the time he used hand sanitiser instead of lubricant.
"I got some lubricant out, two squirts, you don't want anymore than that otherwise it's like a slip and slide."
"You'll slip off the bed and you won't know what hole it's gone in."

Curtis says they only showed the bad parts
"It's like throwing a sausage down a hallway, it's ridiculous."
Judi apparently said, "I didn't even know that he was going to do this joke, I told him to take this joke out."
Following the performance, Curtis took to his podcast to say they only showed the bad parts.

He said, "I was watching on Thursday night and I know I wasn’t the funniest, I know I wasn’t the best, but I am telling you I was better than what they showed on that night."
"Or they just showed the worst bits - sorry Channel 4."

"It was a great show though," Curtis added.
AJ replied, "I do feel a bit sorry for you because I felt like the jokes that I accepted and were quite funny were not shown on TV and the jokes that I - a little bit - cringed at were shown on TV."
