Cynthia Erivo has been cast in Jesus Christ Superstar the musical.
According to the Hollywood Bowl the Wicked star, is set to lead the lineup for the Hollywood Bowl’s 2025 production, playing the role of Jesus.
Taking to Instagram stories to share the exciting news she wrote: "Just a little busy this summer," alongside a wink face emoji. "Can’t wait!!"

The upcoming production will run from the 1st - 3rd of August 2025.
The Hollywood Bowl's summer season is also set to see Hugh Jackman performing songs from The Greatest Showman, The Music Man and others during the opening night and the Summer schedule will see concerts from Diana Ross, Cyndi Lauper and more.
