Dani Dyer talks online trolling
Love Island 2018 winner Dani Dyer has opened up about online trolling.
It turns out she's received some seriously, "hurtful," comments since announcing her pregnancy over summer.
Dani opened up during a chat with her dad on their podcast, Sorted with the Dyers.
"I had a bit of upset with social media, right," the former Islander said.
She recalled some horrific comments written about her under a post she shared about the importance of life insurance.
"Some of the comments on there were just so horrible about me," Dani admitted.
"They were saying I was going to be a terrible mother."
"Calling me, 'vulgar,' saying, 'she doesn’t deserve happiness.'"
"...I wanted to sob my heart out..."
Dani continued, "I sat there and I was like, I wanted to sob my heart out because I thought what have I done?"
"I'm just talking about life insurance here."
"[What have I done] to deserve them sort of comments?"
She added that they were, "really hurtful, but it was my own fault for reading them."
Her dad Danny assured her, "It's not your own fault."
"We're living in a world where people can have an opinion about us."

Danny continued, "And they can tell you their fu**ing opinion about you through social media."
"It comes with the territory, you've got a lot of followers."
"You want the followers - it's good for you, it's lucrative, it makes you feel good, it's good for the ego."

He told his daughter that unfortunately if they're going to put their lives out there, they have to deal with this, "dark side."
"What we have to accept - and it's so difficult - is that if we're going to put our life out there, we cannot make everybody like us."
"You just can't do it, it's impossible and why would we? It's all part of being a human being."
