David Schwimmer hits out at Kanye West
Friends star David Schwimmer is just one of many Hollywood celebs slamming Kanye West online over his, 'anti-Semitic,' posts.
Jamie Lee Curtis, Sarah Silverman and many more have already spoken out against him.
David shared a picture of the word, 'bYE,' on his Instagram Grid.
In the caption, he wrote, 'Anti-semitism is on the rise globally. Jews make up only 2.4% of the population of the United States but are the victims of more than 60% of all religious hate crimes.*'
'Whether or not Kanye West is mentally ill, there's no question he is a bigot.'
The Ross Gellar actor continued, 'His hate speech calls for violence against Jews.'
'If you interpret his words any other way and defend him, guess what? You are racist.'
'If we don’t call someone as influential as Kanye out for his divisive, ignorant and anti-semitic words then we are complicit. Silence is complicity.'

David's not the only one speaking out on the issue.
John Legend tweeted, 'Weird how all these “free, independent thinkers” always land at the same old anti blackness and anti semitism.'
While Jamie Lee Curtis said, 'The holiest day in Judaism was last week. Words matter.'
She continued, 'A threat to Jewish people ended once in a genocide. Your words hurt and incite violence. You are a father. Please stop.'

Sarah Silverman also tweeted, 'Kanye threatened the Jews yesterday on twitter and it’s not even trending.'
'Why do mostly only Jews speak up against Jewish hate? The silence is so loud.'

What happened?
Just days after he faced backlash over his controversial, 'White Lives Matter,' t-shirts at Paris Fashion Week, Kanye has come under fire for some, 'anti-Semitic,' posts.
After his Instagram account was restricted, he took to Twitter to say, 'I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.'
As quoted by The Independent, he continued, 'The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because Black people are actually Jew also.'
He added, 'You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda'
It wasn't long before his Twitter account was locked for violating the platform's policies.
