They said, 'I feel like we're all our own worst enemy, or at least I am.'
'So I definitely could see how if anything is up there watching over me, they're trying to protect me from my worst enemy, which is myself.'

Demi has been promoting their new Peacock show Unidentified With Demi Lovato.
It follows them, their best friend Matthew Montgomery and their sister Dallas as they search for extraterrestrial life.
Matthew told ET that he was skeptical going into it, but now he's a full blown believer.
He said, 'Before we shot the show, I was a skeptic.'
'And now since we shot the show I haven't stopped talking about it. I was like, 'Are cameras recording this?''
'And I think Demi went, 'Yeah, this is a TV show, we're filming.' And I was like, 'Good because I cannot believe what is happening right now.''

Demi thinks the series is important because it opens a conversation and, 'raises our consciousness.'
They added, 'It expands our consciousness and that is what we have to do in order to make this world a better place.'

They revealed, "We went out into the desert in Joshua Tree and I basically saw this blue orb that was about 50 feet away, maybe less, and it was kind of like floating above the ground, just like 10 or 15 feet, and it was kind of keeping its distance from me."
"It was a beautiful and incredible experience."
