So, on Monday, Diddy shocked the world by revealing that he was changing his name, yet again.
In a video posted to Twitter, he announced that he can only be addressed by his new name 'Brother Love' or 'Love' for short.

Well, he has now confirmed that the whole thing was a joke. Diddy posted to Instagram yesterday, announcing that he has now realised he 'cannot play around with the internet'.
He decided to 'set the record straight' as he has a lot of press coming up in the next few weeks, and we're free to address him by any of his names.
Oh, you got us there, Diddy.
