Ed Sheeran has revealed the real reason why he quit Twitter, and it's not why you think.
Itt appeared that Ed quit Twitter, and then his account resurfaced back online and all of his tweets were deleted, apart from three.
We're not gonna lie, his timing was impeccable and very in line with his Game of Thrones cameo which he received some backlash over. Due to this, everyone was convinced that he quit because he was being trolled and there was too much negativity. However, Ed has released a statement on his Instagram saying that was not the case.
Ed wrote 'Last i'll say on this. I came off Twitter Coz I was always intending to come off Twitter, had nothing to do with what people said about my game of thrones cameo, because I am in game of thrones, why the hell would I worry what people thought about that. It's clearly fuckin' awesome. Timing was just a coincidence, but believe what you want. Here is an unrelated picture of me and my wonderful manager riding off into the sunset together.'
So there you go. Ed doesn't give a crap what people say. Rightly so!
