It was only recently announced that Maya Jama had landed the role, and Ekin-Su reckons she's a good fit.
The Love Island 2022 winner told Pop Sugar, 'She's funny, intelligent, smart, beautiful.'
'ITV have made a good choice with picking her, I think.'

Fans have been calling for Maya Jama to present the show for some time now.
It was only when Ekin-Su made her debut on the show this year and won over audiences that people started throwing her name into the hat.
Maya on the other hand has plenty of experience in the industry and will make a fantastic replacement for Laura.

'I can’t wait to get into the villa to meet all of the Islanders.'
And neither can we!
