Emma Watson addresses engagement rumours
Harry Potter actress Emma Watson has addressed speculation she's engaged to her partner Leo Robinton.
She spoke about the rumours on Twitter last night.
It's believed Emma has been dating LA businessman Leo Robinton since late 2019/ early 2020.
She's never addressed their relationship publicly and is notorious for keeping her personal life private, which is totally fair.
Recently, rumours began to spread that Leo and Emma were engaged and that she was quitting acting.
Understandably, her fans were devastated by the reports about her career and could only pray they weren't true.
It wasn't long before Emma's manager at Untitled Entertainment, Jason Weinberg, shut down speculation in a statement.
He told EW, 'Emma's social media accounts are dormant but her career isn't.'
Emma, who rarely posts on social media, has since taken to Twitter to say a few words herself.
She began, 'Dear Fans, Rumours about whether I’m engaged or not, or whether my career is “dormant or not” are ways to create clicks each time they are revealed to be true or untrue.'
'If I have news - I promise I’ll share it with you.'
She continued, 'In the mean time please assume no news from me just means I’m quietly spending the pandemic the way most people are - failing to make sourdough bread (!), caring for my loved ones and doing my best not to spread a virus that is still affecting so many people.'
'I am sending so much love to you, hoping you’re ok and as well and happy as you can be in these strange times.'
