Looks like we're getting a sequel!
Glen Powell has revealed some exciting news for Top Gun fans.
The actor played Jake Seresin (a.k.a. Hangman), opposite the likes of Tom Cruise and Miles Telle in the 2022 film Top Gun: Maverick.
While chatting to Josh Horowitz with his co-star Daisy-Edgar Jones he essentially confirmed a sequal is in the works.
Speaking to the Twisters stars, Josh asked the pair, “Are we more likely to get the Normal People continuation or the Top Gun sequel first?”
Glen responded, “I have a date, so probably say me.”
Josh quickly followed up, asking, “Any news you want to share tonight?”
To which the actor replied, “Absolutely not.”
“Do you know things you can’t say?” asked Josh.
“Uhm, Josh, we should go to the next question,” Glen responded.
