GMB pay tribute to Kate Garraway's husband
The Good Morning Britain team paid tribute to their colleague Kate Garraway and her husband Derek Draper on today's show.
Derek was recently rushed to hospital with the coronavirus and currently remains in an intensive care unit.
A rep for Kate recently released a statement confirming the news.
'Kate's husband, Derek Draper, has been taken to hospital and is being treated in intensive care with a confirmed case of COVID-19.'
'He was admitted on Monday and has since tested positive for the virus.'
'Kate, hasn't been tested, however she has also been displaying mild symptoms, also since Monday, and as a result has been on strict isolation with her children at home.'

Good Morning Britain
During today's episode of Good Morning Britain, Susanna Reid addressed the news.
She said, "I know I speak for all of the team and all of the viewers when we send our love to Kate Garraway and her husband Derek Draper."
"Now you may have read over the past few days that Derek is in intensive care. He tested positive for coronavirus."

Susanna went on, "We send him every ounce of strength as he recovers from coronavirus and our love to Kate and the family."
"On Thursday night, Kate posted a video on Instagram when she and her family were clapping for carers."
"She said that she had an extra reason to do that and we thank all of the NHS workers who are working so hard at the moment treating those who are suffering from the virus."
Piers added, "It really brought it home for us."
"It's coming home to everyone, isn't it? To everyone with family, with friends."
"Everyone's been touched by this."
