Love Island's Greg dodges surgery
Greg O'Shea reveals he missed surgery on his broken nose and cracked forehead following his Love Island win.
The Irish rugby player planned to head home after the show for the operation but says, "it didn't play out."
Greg appeared on Loose Women with Love Island partner in crime Amber this week.
When asked about his injuries, he explains, "I don’t know if you can notice it, but I’ve got a broken nose and a cracked forehead."
He goes on, "I was supposed to go home and get the operation done but it didn't play out."
"Now is the worst time to get facial surgery - shave my hair off and do the whole thing."
Despite his injuries and his reality fame, the rugby star fully intends on returning to the sport.
"Rugby is my first love and I also want to qualify as a solicitor."
"If I just dropped that now… I want to get back to my boys, get back to training, take what I can out of Love Island…"
Nodding towards Amber he adds, "But I got her!"
Amber & Greg
The happy couple took home the £50,000 prize after winning this year's Love Island.
And while they are exclusive, they're not an official couple.
Amber says, "We're exclusively dating but not official yet. He hasn’t asked us yet."
Greg explains, "I can definitely see us getting there but we only met each other for the first time on July 15..."
"She hasn't met my friends or family. I've met hers!"
