For the People will take you out of the hospital and into the courtroom. According to reports, it was successful in the pilot phase of the show and is now headed for TV screens. Deadline are claiming that Britt Robertson has been cast as the lead role of Sandra.
Britt has starred in Tomorrowland, and most recently Girlboss.
Sandra is a public defender, who had dreams of becoming a lawyer after her family faced a serious wrongdoing.
She will replace Britne Oleford, who played Sandra in the pilot episode of For the People.
Reports also suggest that this isn't the only Grey's Anatomy spin-off in the works. Another one is in the production stages. It's currently nameless and will follow the trials and tribulations of characters working in a fire station.
