Hailey Bieber talks marriage
Within the space of four months, Hailey Bieber got engaged and married to pop-star Justin Bieber.
While she had known him for years, their relationship didn't turn romantic until May 2018.
She talks about her parents' reaction to their engagement during a chat on Justin's docu-series Seasons.
Hailey and Justin began dating in May 2018; they were engaged by July and married by September.
Speaking on her husband's new YouTube series, Hailey admits, "It all happened really fast and kind of all at once..."
"But him and I have known each other for so long that there was a part of it that didn’t feel scary."
She continues, "It’s just such a big life decision that it was just, it was so much emotion all at one time."
"I remember calling my parents when we decided to get married..."
"I said, "This is the time I need you to stop me from doing something crazy if you think this is a bad idea.""

Despite asking her parents' advice, Hailey knew this marriage was exactly what she wanted.
"Cause in my heart I knew that it’s what I wanted to do but I was like, just tell me right now if you think, well, woah, just relax and take a breath and think about this and see how you feel in like 24 hours or a week or something."

And it seems her parents were very supportive of the idea.
Hailey says, "They were like, "Honestly, we think that this is meant to be for you and we know that this is what you want, so we trust you." And I was like, alright."

Justin talks marriage
The singer opens up about his decision to propose during a chat on The Ellen Show.
He admits, "I was extremely nervous. I felt like in the past we had talked about me asking the question."
"And I felt like she would say yes so I wasn't really nervous about the saying yes."
Justin reveals the idea of committing to one person for the rest of his life made him very nervous.
"That's a serious commitment when you say you're gonna love someone for better or for worse..."
"So I think that was what I was really battling with."
When he realised marriage was what he always wanted, he decided to bite the bullet and get down on one knee.
"I finally was like I'm gonna make the decision and follow through with it and be a husband..."
"This is what I've always wanted. I'm gonna just choose this woman and just do it."
Meanwhile, Justin has just announced his album release date and he's dropped a brand new song called Get Me.
