High School Musical's very own Sharpay Evans - aka Ashley Tisdale - dropped a major bomb about her part in the Mean Girls movie.
The 38-year-old Disney Channel alumnus explained that she missed out on playing the role of Karen Smith following a failed screen test - but her journey to the studio wasn't a wasted effort.
While chatting with Bravo's Andy Cohen, Ashley recalled the audition and explained how one of her ad-libbed lines ended up on the big screen.

Despite not getting the part - that was later given to Amanda Seyfried - she giggled as she revealed: 'I just remember I ad-libbed — because I always like in an audition to steal the scene — and I ad-libbed one line, and they put it in the movie.
'And I was like, "Are you kidding me?" I should have gotten a writer's credit. I'm kidding, but I was like, "Dang"'.
During the interview on Watch What Happens Live, she also mentioned that she auditioned alongside Blake Lively, who also failed to nab a role in the cult classic.
