Hilary Duff confronts photographer
Lizzie McGuire star Hilary Duff confronts a photographer at her son's football match.
The actress shares a video of the confrontation with her 14.6 million followers on Instagram.
She claims he was taking photos of the children at the game.
In the video, Hilary is heard asking the man, "Who are you here with?"
The photographer responds, "I'm here with me."
When she asks if he knows any of the people on the team, he honestly replies, "No."
Hilary asks him to stop taking pictures of the children.
He responds by pointing out that what he's doing is completely legal.
The Disney star tells the man that he's making her feel uncomfortable.
The man claims he's practicing photography and that's why he's taking the pictures.
Hilary asks him if he can practice elsewhere before he tells her, "Your paranoia is unwarranted."
Instagram Stories
Hilary took to Instagram Stories to discuss what happened with her followers.
She says, "To be honest with you, I'm not even sure that I know the guy was 100 percent a paparazzi."
"He could've just been a normal dude, I recognise most of the paparazzi that snap me daily and I've never seen him before."

Hilary says, "The police were, you know, pretty dismissive of me, saying, 'What do you want us to do? You're at a public park.'"
"Well yeah, I'm at a public park, I'm at a place where kids play and kids should be safe here."

She continues, "It's just extremely strange and inappropriate and creepy to have a man photographing our 7-year-old children and that to be completely legal."
"Like, if a parent is asking for it to stop, the laws should be changed for you to not be able to photograph that person."

Hilary says, "If those kids are a subject of your 'photography' practice, over and over and over again for minutes or half hour, however long it was, and you ask someone to please stop that, you should have that right."
She adds, "And we really need to work on changing that law."
