Hozier is probably used to thousands of fans at his gigs by now- but last night, he performed a much more intimate show.
It was part of Sofar Sounds, which is an initiative describing themselves as a "global, grassroots network of artists, hosts, and guests, all with the goal of helping to bring the magic back to live music."

People could apply for tickets and if they were successful, they'd find out the secret address.
Had a lovely evening with @sofarsounds and @AmnestyIreland in @dlightstudios tonight. Thanks for having me! #GiveAHome #IWelcome Legends pic.twitter.com/oEMEvHkqnV

This wasn't just confined to Dublin.
There were performances all around the world- including none other than Ed Sheeran performing in someone's front room in Washington DC!
We’ve been waiting a while for this one - ED SHEERAN at @sofardc! #giveahome pic.twitter.com/zQc7KOKJwF
