There's major changes coming to the MTV Movie Awards this year.
After much debate on the issue, the awards are turning gender neutral.
MTV have announced the 2017 nominations and in addition to this, they've introduced separate categories for TV shows, as well as film.
For the first time in the show's history, the awards for Best Actor and Best Actress have been replaced, by non-gendered categories.
This means that the likes of Stranger Things' Millie Bobbie Brown and Emilia Clarke from Game of Thrones, is up against The Walking Dead's Jeffrey Dean Morgan for Best Actor in a Show.
Billboard are reporting that MTV are hoping that these changes will 'highlight the cultural relevancy in society today.'
The MTV Movie and TV Awards will take place in Los Angeles on Sunday May 7th.
