RTE have finally revealed Ireland's entry and it will be performed by former Hometown band member, Brendan Murray.
Brendan will take to the stage in Ukraine this year to perform "Dying To Try" which was co-written by Swedish song writer Jorgen Eloffson and British song writer, James Newman.
Louis Walsh revealed: "I chose Brendan Murray because he is an amazing singer and his voice is so unique, I've never heard anyone like him before. The song and the singer are modern and contemporary and it’s a perfect combination for this years Eurovision in Kyiv"
