Irish Twitter users are fuming
Irish Twitter users are fuming after some media outlets claimed Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott are British.
It's after both Irish stars were nominated for the 2020 Emmy Awards.

Kildare's Paul, was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor for his role in Normal People.
While Dublin native Andrew was nominated for Outstanding Guest Actor for his role in Black Mirror.
British? Irish
A number of media outlets claimed the boys as British when reporting the news.
And Irish Twitter users are having absolutely none of it.

While journalist Richard Chambers tweeted that it was, 'inevitable.'
