Jacques O'Neill opens up
Love Island's Jacques O'Neill broke down in tears on Scott Thomas' podcast Learning As I Go.
It was during a conversation about how his mother struggled with the hate he was receiving online after the show.

Jacques explained he was sent to a holding villa after he made the decision to leave the show.
"I was kicking off and was saying, 'Get me a flight right now, I just want to be with my mum.'"
"I knew she was in a bad place, she was breaking down on the phone."

"It killed me to see the way my mum was."
"I couldn’t speak to her about deep stuff because I’d just break down."
"It took me two weeks to give her a cuddle," the former Islander revealed.
Jacques' mother Janet shared a clip from the interview on Instagram.
She wrote, 'So proud of Jacques for speaking out and having his say nothing has ever been easy for him!'
