Jamie Lynn Spears Has Spoken Out In Support Of Her Sister
More revelations for the Free Britney movement as Jamie Lynn Spears comes out in support of her big sister Britney Spears.
Jamie Lynn has now shared her version of what’s really going on behind the scenes.
She has remained silent for a long time on the ongoing conservatorship battle, but all that has changed now.
Earlier this year Jamie was rumored to have been spotted at a virtual Free Britney rally.
Last night she took to Instagram stories to “address a few things.”
Sharing that she has only ever “loved, adored, and supported” her sister since the day she was born.
This is the first time Jamie Lynn has spoken out publicly about the situation.
Jamie Lynn said the only reason she hasn’t spoken out before is because, “I felt like until my sister is able to speak for herself and say what she felt she needed to say publicly, that it wasn’t my place or it wasn’t the right thing to do.”
Supporting Her Sister
She continued, “I have nothing to gain or lose either way. This situation does not affect me either way”
And she's is only concerned about [Britney’s] happiness.”
The public support comes after the Zoey 101 star faced some backlash online over her silence.
Referencing the public’s views on the situation and her own involvement, Jamie Lynn said, “Maybe I didn’t support the way the public may have liked me to with a hashtag on a public platform.”
Adding, “but I can assure you I have supported my sister long before there was a hashtag and I’ll support her long after.”
As she opened up to her 2.2 million followers on Instagram stories, she ended the post stating clearly that she has always supported her sister behind closed doors.
Jamie Lynn said, “I’m so proud of her for using her voice” and, “requesting new counsel as I told her many years ago.”
The powerful speech ended with a touching message as Jamie said, “I love my sister, always have and always will as long as she’s happy.”
On Monday, Jamie Lynn’s husband broke his silence on the conservatorship also offering support for Britney,
Last week Britney spoke out publicly against the conservatorship for the first time in her court hearing, but still needs to file a formal motion to end the legal hold over her estate and personal life decisions.
