Popular actress and broadcaster Jennifer Zamparelli (RTÉ’s Republic of Telly, The Fear, Bridget & Eamon) will join the cast of Richard O’Brien’s legendary rock ‘n’ roll musicalTHE ROCKY HORROR SHOW as ‘The Narrator’ from Mon 11 to Sat 16 August 2025, tickets priced from €35.00 (additional fees may apply) are available now through Ticketmaster. Jennifer will star alongside Australian icon Jason Donovan as he reprises his role of Frank N’ Furter following a sold-out Australian Tour in 2024.
The two much loved performers will be reunited on the stage of Bord Gáis Energy Theatre having previously starred together there in the 2013 production of Pricilla Queen of the Desert.
Speaking on the cast announcement Jennifer said: ‘I’m absolutely thrilled to be taking on the role of the Narrator in the iconic musical THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW when it comes to Dublin in August, it’s always been a favourite of mine! It’s sexy, outrageously funny and it’s going to be so much fun working with such a brilliant cast including my old pal – the legend that is Jason Donovan! It’s certainly been a while, but I can’t wait to get started.’
Jennifer Zamparelli is an actress, presenter, and broadcaster with a diverse career spanning theatre, television, and radio. As an actor she has performed in Priscilla Queen of the Desert at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, as well as RTÉ’s Republic of Telly, hidden camera show: The Fear and the award-winning sitcom Bridget & Eamon which she also co-created. As a live broadcaster, Jennifer has presented Dancing with the Stars Ireland for the last six years and hosted her own daily mid-morning radio show on RTÉ 2FM. Her sharp wit and presence continue to make her a standout in Irish entertainment.
Having been seen by over 35 million theatregoers, The Rocky Horror Show is the story of two squeaky clean college kids–Brad and his fiancée Janet.
When by a twist of fate, their car breaks down outside a creepy mansion whilst on their way to visit their former college professor, they meet the charismatic Dr Frank-n-Furter.
It is an adventure they’ll never forget, filled with fun, frolics, frocks, and frivolity.
