Jeremy Renner in critical but stable condition
Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner was airlifted to hospital following an incident near his home on New Year's Day.
A rep for the actor has released a statement explaining he suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries following a, 'weather-related accident.'

The incident occurred while he was ploughing snow near his home in Nevada.
As quoted by Deadline, a spokesperson said, 'We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, January 2nd 2023.'
'He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition.'

The statement went on to thank the doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as the fire and rescue team, the city mayor and the Carano and Murdock families, on behalf of his family.
'They are also tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans,' the statement concluded.
