Jimmy Kimmel talks Oscars hosting gig
Having hosted the Oscars in 2017 and 2018, Jimmy Kimmel thinks the 2022 hosts should be asking for more money.
During a light-hearted chat with Wanda Sykes, one of this year's hosts, he revealed he was paid $15,000 for the gig.

Wanda is set to host the ceremony next week alongside Amy Schumer and Regina Hall.
She told Jimmy that she recently realised that out of all the jobs she currently has, "this one is actually going to cost me money."
The late night talk show host completely agreed, and asked if she can reveal how much she's getting paid.

She admitted, "I don't even know, it's like scale... probably."
Jimmy told her, "It's less than that. I got paid $15,000 to host the Oscars, and there was one of me."
"You guys will probably have to split all that," he joked.
The TV presenter added, "It sounds like a lot for one night but it's months of work leading up to it."
Wanda agreed, "Yes! Yes - it's a lot of work!"
"You're getting robbed. You know what, hold out right now because they need hosts," Jimmy advised.
"I've already decided I'm going to steal an Oscar," the 58-year-old joked.
Later in the interview, Jimmy advised Wanda to, "Ask them for more money... really like, if I can give you one piece of advice..."
The Monster-In-Law actress joked, "I'm telling you, I'm going to get good money for that Oscar, I ain't worried 'bout it."
The 2022 Oscars is scheduled for March 28th.
