Joaquin Phoenix & Rooney Mara are parents
Joker actor Joaquin Phoenix has welcomed a baby boy with partner Rooney Mara.
According to reports, they named him River, after Joaquin's late brother.
Director Victor Kossakovsky shared the news at the 2020 Zurich Film Festival.
He spilled the beans after a screening of Gunda, a film Joaquin was an executive producer on.
During a Q&A, Kossakovsky revealed, 'He just got baby by the way... A beautiful son called River.'

This comes a little over four months after it was reported they were expecting.
The couple however, never confirmed the pregnancy news.
At the time, representatives refused to comment when approached by Page Six.
Rooney and Joaquin
Rooney and Joaquin met on the set of the movie Her in 2013.
However, it's reported they didn't start dating until they met again on the set of the movie Mary Magdalene which came out in 2018.
Speaking to Vanity Fair, Joaquin admitted he thought Rooney despised him when they first met.
However, it turns out she was just shy and she actually did really like him.
He admitted, 'She’s the only girl I ever looked up on the internet.'
'We were just friends, email friends. I’d never done that.'
'Never looked up a girl online.'
It's believed the private couple have been laying low in their isolation home in L.A. amid the pandemic.
They have yet to comment on reports.
