It seems Kate Beckinsale is quite the witty type.
She shared a photo of her mother on Instagram before a fan commented, 'Dear heavens, Kate. Not Pete Davidson.'
However, it seems Beckinsale doesn't want to give in to the rumours.
Her response is perfect. According to MailOnline she said, 'No that's my mother. Easy mistake.'
A source reveals that while at the Golden Globes after party, Kate spends the majority of the time chatting to and flirting with Pete Davidson.
The source told Page Six, 'They were sitting very close on the outside patio seating.'
'Kate had her hand on his knee, and she kept laughing at all his jokes.'
Pete attended the awards ceremony with his good friend Machine Gun Kelly.
Kelly spent the night talking to Kate's friend.
Pete is just out of a relationship with Ariana Grande while Kate was spotted kissing comedian Jack Whitehall in November last year.
Beckinsale also shares 19-year-old daughter Lily Sheen with her former boyfriend Michael Sheen.
