Katy Perry's life in isolation
Katy Perry has opened up about the struggles of pregnancy in isolation in a new interview with Capital.
She discussed her cravings, her longing for personal space and more.
The singer's expecting her first child with partner Orlando Bloom.
Katy told the radio station that she's cried a lot during her pregnancy.
She said, "I cry when I look down at my toes or I cry when just doing simple tasks."
"I think a lot of that is hormonal and I'm not used to being around so many people all in a confined or a small space for so long."
"I'm used to going out all the time," Katy explained.
She even admitted to locking herself in her parked car outside her home.
"I have put myself in my car outside my house and locked the doors."
When asked why, she said, "'Cause I need my space."
Cravings
Katy went on to talk about her pregnancy cravings and how she hasn't been able to satisfy them.
She said, "I think about cravings but I also think about, 'do I want to risk my life getting that craving?'"
"So it’s all like really intense thoughts that are supposed to be light and bright and you’re like, 'aaarrggh!'"
The American singer has been very vocal about how hard she's finding life in isolation.
Just last week she tweeted, 'sometimes i don’t know what’s worse trying to avoid the virus or the waves of depression that come with this new norm'
