The feud between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift reached a new level last week, but it could be over soon.
On Friday, Katy released the third track off her new studio album Witness. The song is titled Swish Swish, and it caused some uproar when fans heard it. Many speculated that the track was about her row with Taylor, including Ruby Rose. You can read more on that HERE.
Katy joined James Corden for Carpool Karaoke, and of course, the feud did come into the conversation.
According to E! News, Katy said 'There's a situation. Honestly, it's really like she started it, and it's time for her to finish it.'
While Katy didn't confirm or deny that Swish Swish was about Taylor, or a direct response to Bad Blood, but she did not bite her tongue when it came to speaking about it.
Katy has claimed that she's reached out to Taylor previously. 'I tried to talk to her about it and she wouldn't speak to me. I do the right thing any time that it feels like a fumble. It was a full shutdown and then she writes a song about me, and I'm like, OK, cool, cool, cool, that's how you want to deal with it? Karma!'
Katy agreed that if she got a text from Taylor, then 'the beef is off the grill.'
