Kendrick Lamar has been announced as the Super Bowl halftime headliner for 2025 - Which makes him the first rapper to headline the halftime show solo.
Taking to Instagram to share the exciting news with 16.2 million followers, he shared a promo video and wrote: "Super Bowl LIX. New Orleans. February 2025. #AppleMusicHalftime"

In a statement Kendrick said: "Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I’ll be there to remind the world why, they got the right one."
The 'Not Like Us' rapper will hit the stage at The Caesars Superdome on Sunday, the 9th of February, 2025 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
