Jacob Elordi claims he has, "resting miserable face"
Jacob Elordi, who plays Noah in The Kissing Booth, has reacted after fans claimed he looked miserable in the sequel.
The actor insists he had a blast making the movie, and blamed this reaction on his, "resting miserable face."
Jacob dated his onscreen girlfriend Joey King (Elle) for some time, but they called it quits before the sequel came out.
After the trailer for the second movie dropped, fans flocked to Twitter claiming he looked, 'miserable.'
One Twitter user wrote, 'i mean he’s in a movie he basically don’t wanna be in while having to make-out with his ex-girlfriend'

Looking back at it now, Jacob Elordi did look miserable in the movie 😅 and he really hasn't been promoting the movie in his socials (not that he's really active though)

Jacob's reaction
During a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Jacob put the claims to bed.
He said, "No, no. I have a resting miserable face!"
The actor continued, "You know what it is?"
"It’s because I’m usually thinking a lot, like, an insane amount about something ridiculous."
"Also, Noah is a moody dude, you know? He’s a moody guy. He’s not running around [super happy]."
"I wasn’t miserable, I was bloody tired but not miserable. I had a blast."
Jacob had just finished two nights of shooting Euphoria before flying to Africa for The Kissing Booth.
"So that was a dramatic shift mentally."
He continued, "But there was a nice calm in going back to [The Kissing Booth] and being able to settle into something I knew how to do and knew what to expect and had friends around."
Meanwhile, Netflix recently announced we're getting a third Kissing Booth movie.
