This is cute.

Lady Gaga has shared some details about the moment her fiancé Michael Polansky proposed to her.

The couple have been engaged since April 1st this year, although it was only during the Olympics in July that the news broke.

Gaga had intended to keep the engagement "a secret" until she was caught on camera introducing Michael to the French Prime Minister, saying "this is my fiancé."

Telling the story of the proposal to Jimmy Kimmel, Gaga called the moment "super fun."

“We went on a trip together and we went rock climbing. We’d been rock climbing before, which was super fun," she said.

“He didn’t propose to me at the top. We climbed up to the top, and we looked around, and we took some photos.

“We went back down and we were just walking back to the room. It was very Michael to ask me if he could ask me.

“He wanted to know if it was OK to propose before he proposed. I was like, ‘Yes! It’s so OK!’”

Has Lady Gaga any wedding plans yet?

Asking the question we were all thinking, Jimmy questioned Gaga on whether an extravagant Italian wedding was in the works.

She said, “I don’t know what we’re going to do. We’re not exactly sure yet.

“We actually talk a lot about just going to a courthouse just the two of us and [then] ordering Chinese food.

"But also, knowing me, it could become like a circus with unicorns."

The pair are said to have begun dating in 2019, although they only went public in 2020.

Lady Gaga has praised him in the past, saying “I had never met anyone like Michael. He’s so smart and so kind. And his life and my life are very different.”

Michael works as a tech entrepreneur. Gaga continued, explaining how he's “a very private guy" and he’s with her because they are "right for each other."

Now, she wants her fans to know she's "so happy" and "healthy."

"I feel like the last time they heard from me—in this way—was Chromatica, and that album was about an absolutely horrible time for me with my mental health. I was in a really dark place.”

“I struggled for, like, many years before that. But everything started to change. Because I had a real friend who saw the ways in which I was unhappy and why. And he wasn’t afraid to truly hold my hand. And get to know me. On a very deep level.”
