Lewis Capaldi lashes back
Lewis Capaldi has hit back at a social media user who called him out for bringing his drink onstage at the BRITs.
The singer accepted the awards for Best New Artist and Best Song at the ceremony on Tuesday night.
Lewis holds both his drink and his mic in one hand as he greets presenter Tom Jones on stage.
He takes the BRIT award and accidentally talks into his drink instead of the mic.
The award winning artist pops his drink and trophy on the table in front of him before giving his speech.
And while many found his whole interaction hilarious, one person online was less than impressed.
The Twitter user shared a photo of Lewis holding up his trophy and his bottle of Buckfast to the camera.
'We have an unhealthy relationship with alcohol in Scotland. This doesn’t help.'

Lewis hits back by retweeting the post and adding a very sarcastic caption.
'imagine having a drink on my first night off in months after winning two Brit awards, can you believe it?!'
