Lili Reinhart on her bisexuality
Riverdale's Lili Reinhart has opened up about her bisexuality in a new interview with The L.A. Times.
The Betty Cooper actress came out to the public earlier this year in a post on Instagram Stories.
Lili announced her bisexuality in a post revealing she would be protesting with LGBTQ+ for Black Lives Matter.
She captioned a poster for the event, 'Although I've never announced it publicly before, I am a proud bisexual woman.'
The 23-year-old added, 'And I will be joining this protest today. Come join.'

During a chat with The L.A. Times, Lili spoke about the announcement and what inspired her to make it.
She said, 'I think I just felt at this point in time: Why not?'
'If suddenly I started dating a girl publicly, I didn't want people to be, like, what the… ?'
'Not that I would even owe anyone an explanation. Because I don't,' she added.
'I felt that since I've exclusively been in hetero-normative relationships, it would be too easy for any outsider, especially the media, to vilify me and accuse me of faking it to get attention.'
'That's not something I wanted to deal with.'
Lili said that, 'from a young age,' she knew she was attracted to women.
'But to my close friends, and those in my life, my bisexuality has been no secret.'
