TV affected Lisa Kudrow's weight
Friends star Lisa Kudrow said watching herself on TV affected her weight.
She admits she felt like 'a mountain of a woman' next to her co-stars Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston.
The actress opens up about her struggle with body image in an interview on WTF with Marc Maron this week.
Kudrow reveals she became dangerously thin while she was on the show.
'Unfortunately for a woman, if you're underweight, you look good and that's all I ever got.'
Her weight loss affected her health so badly that she started getting chronic colds and sinus infections.
'When I was too thin, I was sick all the time.'
But even the health factor didn't stop her from staying at that weight.
'Because you see yourself on TV and it's that, 'Oh my God, I'm just a mountain of a girl.''
'I'm already bigger than Courteney and Jennifer.'
'My bones feel bigger. I just felt like this mountain of a woman next to them.'
Even though the series ended over a decade ago, she still struggles with body image; 'I have a whole battle all the time.'
'I end up with, 'So what? So, all right. You're older. That's a good thing. Why is that a bad thing?''
