At the D23 event over the weekend, some of the cast of the Aladdin live-action remake were unveiled to the world.
Mena Massood has been cast as Aladdin, and Naomi Scott has been chosen to play the iconic Jasmine. It was also confirmed that Will Smith will undertake the role of Genie.
This news came as a bit of a shock, as it was previously reported that Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall was tipped to get the role of Jasmine.
Mixers are now commenting under one of her most recent Instagram posts, because they think it's her way of throwing a sly dig at Disney for snubbing her.
She posted a picture of herself, claiming that she was 'over it.'
It's unclear whether she is actually making reference to losing out on the part, but the timing is impeccable so it's no surprise that Mixers are consoling Jade.
