A source told E! News this week that since then they've become incredibly close and are officially an item.

It's believed their first date took place in California last year and involved a romantic meal.
A spectator told E! at the time, 'They had a romantic dinner outside under the stars.'
'They shared wine and food and had a great two-hour meal.'

Before Cole, Vanessa had been in a nine-year relationship with actor Austin Butler.
It was reported in January last year that they had called it quits in late 2019.
