Louis Tomlinson has been speaking out about his true feelings about the One Direction hiatus.
Speaking to The Guardian's Observer, Louis said 'In the last year of One Direction I was probably the most confident I ever was. And then it was: 'OK, hiatus!'
Louis said that he was initially against the idea of a break when it came about. 'It wasn't necessarily a nice conversation. I could see where it was going.'
He also revealed that he hadn't planned to release new solo music, and especially not so soon. 'If you'd asked me a year or 18 months ago: 'Are you going to do anything as a solo artist?' I'd have said absolutely not.' Louis admitted that he would have thought he was going to focus on management for the duration of the break.
Louis released a track with Steve Aoki a couple of months ago.
He's also teased a brand new collab with Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals. That's due out soon.
