Former Love Island contestant Ellie Brown has spoken out following her split from Charlie Brake.
Charlie announced last week that he and Ellie called it quits, just days after she revealed that she had moved out of his place and into an apartment of her own.
Taking to Instagram last night, Ellie addressed the break-up for the first time, admitting that she was not the "perfect girlfriend."
In an emotional post, Ellie thanked fans for their continued support, but asked followers to "stop coming to me with articles that claim that I brought this on myself."
She added "I am trying to deal with this the best as as quietly as possible. By no means am I saying I was the perfect girlfriend, but I adored Charlie from the bottom of my heart and he knows that."
Charlie's statement was straight to the point, saying "Just to inform you all, Ellie and I have decided to part ways. I wish her all the best."
However, a source said that their split was far from amicable, claiming that Charlie reportedly cheated on Ellie with another girl.
Ellie still has loved-up pictures of herself and Charlie on her Instagram account, and so does Charlie.
